This race is held the Saturday before the Eliminator Race. It�s design to promote new pilots that would like to try racing without any pressure. Also, it�s a great way to get some practice flights in before the Main Event and it adds to a great weekend of racing. There will be 2 classes of �Run What You Brought???; a 2:30 and 2:00 class. This sportsman race uses all of the rules and procedures of the Eliminator Race with the following exceptions:
- Standard heat racing with 4 points going to the winner. (3 points to 2nd, 2 points to 3rd and 1 point to 4th)
- 2 Classes of �Run What You Brought???: 2:30 breakout and 2:00 Breakout
- Pylon cuts are on an �Honor System???, no pylon judges
- No start cuts; if you start cut; your lap does not count and you have to go around and try again.
- Breakouts win you a zero for the heat.
- Finish positions, breakouts and start cuts are called by the Start/Finish Judge.
- Finishes are videotaped and reviewed as necessary for finish placements.
- Fly offs maybe needed if there are point-ties
